Ever since the Quarry closed locals have been using the “Old Wavendon Heath” at Woburn Sands for walking and horse riding, but in the last 10 years mountain bikers have found the dry sandy conditions perfect for all year riding. I started riding there in the early 90s, and over the last 10 years, many generations of mountain bikers have helped change the trails to what you see today..
