Riding Charges

There is a annual charge of £10. This will give you the right to ride the trails plus 3rd party liability insurance. You can pay the £10 to the warden if and when you see him

Digging the Trails

There are a few rules to be followed when digging and trail building at Woburn Trails

No digging outside the designated areas. The designated areas are obvious to see, but if you are unsure ask a local. If there are no locals around DON’T DIG

When digging don’t create big holes. Sand is supplied from the quarry over the road when it is needed. Again this is something the locals will know about so if you want to know more ask.

DON’T hammer nails into living trees, this is something the warden looks for, if he sees it he will remove what ever has been made. It is OK to hammer nails into dead tree stumps. If you need to attach something to a tree, tie it with rope.

That’s about it for the rules and restrictions. Just use common sense when trail building, nothing to high, nothing to dangerous, try not to make the place look untidy, you know the sort of thing.
